Aileen continued to dance competitively at various studios on the south shore, and was a part of several student dance companies. after high school, Aileen was accepted into the the Hartt School as a dance performance major. Aileen has continued to perform, teach and choreograph in and around New England. Diane has lived in Dedham for the past 29 years, where she raised 3 daughters with her husband Ralph. She works full time at Boston University and is always looking for ways to stay active. Diane decided to try Barre because she felt like she needed more than a typical gym workout. She says she is SO happy she made that decision, because “the Studio Barre workout is great! You come out of class feeling like you have accomplished something, and you can’t wait to go back!”
Heather was born and raised in Boston! She works full time in Early Childhood Education and part time as a freelance makeup artist. In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with family & friends (especially her 2 Godsons!), photographing beautiful scenes of Boston and catching a gorgeous sunset! Heather says that working at Studio Barre has deepened her love for health and fitness, community and acceptance of all!
Rebecca grew up in Framingham, MA and earned her BFA from University of Hartford. She now works full time at an art gallery in Boston. In her down-time, she loves to listen/dance to music, watch movies, entertain friends and try to cook new recipes but staying active with fitness has always been important to her. Before joining the Studio Barre team, she had never tried barre before but was always curious and after taking a few classes, she was hooked!! She felt the positive impact it had on her overall well-being right away and now really enjoys talking to both new and existing clients who come into the studio to answer questions with the hope that they love it as much as she does and keep coming back for more!”
Teaching group fitness has been positively life changing for her. amanda continues to teach various fitness classes and has built a reputation of presenting a challenging class. while it is her hope that clients’ limits are pushed, it is also important to her that clients always feel comfortable enough to ask for help and have the confidence to continue striving for improvement. amanda wants all clients to leave class feeling positive about what they have accomplished.
Kayla took her first barre class in the Summer of 2016 and instantly fell in love. The fast paced class, upbeat music, and enthusiastic teachers kept her running back for more. She began dreaming about some day becoming an instructor herself, and that dream finally came true! If she’s not teaching, you can usually find her shaking her way through class right alongside you! Her all time favorite barre exercise is waterski and she is an avid lover of the dreaded blue band! Kayla hopes to take over her mom’s dance studio in Canton, Massachusetts (which is currently in its 108th year!!!) and become the 4th generation owner. Kayla has always been a jokester and is sure to have you laughing your way through her early morning week day classes!
